Encryption before storage

Two encryption layers protect your stored files — application-level AES-256-GCM before storage, plus a storage-level layer at rest inside Everabyte’s storage infrastructure. Direct access to stored objects does not reveal the original file contents, and your decryption key remains under your control — explained in our dedicated article.

What we do not do with your data

A UK-based company

Everabyte Limited (no. 16338558) is registered in London and with the UK ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office) under registration ZC209141. Account, support and log data stays in the UK regardless of the storage region of your files.

Named subprocessors, with notice

We publish the list of our subprocessors: Stripe, NowPayments, IONOS UK, Mailgun (EU), Lenochat and Google Analytics (with your consent). Business customers receive 30 days’ notice before a new provider is added.

Common issues

Can Everabyte read my files?

Direct access to stored objects does not reveal the original file contents, and your decryption key remains under your control: Everabyte services cannot use it or access decrypted stored files without an operation authorized by you.

Is my data sold or used for advertising?

No: no selling, no advertising sharing, no AI model training.

Where is my account data hosted?

Account, support and log data stays in the UK regardless of the storage region.

Who are your subprocessors?
