Secure cloud storage for education

Everabyte gives schools, universities and research teams one controlled place for course material, student records and administrative files.

Encryption, role-based access and version history are built into the same workspace, so staff can share what they need to share without opening everything else.

Cloud storage that supports learning everywhere

Educational institutions generate a lot of data, from student records and assignments to research datasets and administrative documents.

Everabyte keeps that material in one structured workspace, so teachers, students and administrators work from the same source instead of separate drives.

Student records

Restricted folders for academic data

Course material

Syllabi, slides and reading lists

Research data

Datasets stored by project

Collaboration

Share across departments and campuses

Built for schools, universities and research teams

The folder model adapts to the institution, not the other way round.

K-12 schools and districts

Keep lesson plans, student work and administrative records in separate folders, with access limited to the staff who need each one.

Universities and colleges

Organise faculty material, academic records and campus communications in one workspace that staff and students can reach from any device.

Research and administrative teams

Store datasets, grant documentation and institutional records by project, with versions preserved when a file is revised.

Access model

Who can see what

A clear starting point for the conversation with your IT team. Role names and permissions can be adjusted to match your institution.

On FERPA and COPPA. Everabyte does not claim FERPA or COPPA certification. Encryption, access control and activity logs can support the controls your institution is required to apply; the legal basis and any data processing terms remain your institution's responsibility and are confirmed in the contract.

Security and control for educational data

Student privacy and institutional security are configuration decisions, not a badge.

Encryption

AES-256-GCM protects stored files; TLS 1.3 protects transfers in transit.

Role-based access

Teachers, administrators and students see the folders their role allows — nothing more.

Reviewable activity

Views, downloads, link creation and revocation are recorded where audit logging is included.

Recoverable files

Version history and trash help recover a corrected report or a file deleted by mistake.

Keep the academic community working while access stays explicit and reviewable.

  • Create class folders, department drives and research spaces with a structure staff can follow
  • Share assignments, syllabi and resources through permissions or protected links
  • Store lecture recordings, lab images and large datasets without splitting them across drives
  • Exchange files with the systems your institution already runs, including export from an LMS or SIS
Tailored features

Education-specific storage features

Everabyte adapts to academic workflows and IT needs without pretending to be an LMS.

Course material stays in folders your staff control, and can be exported or uploaded to the systems your institution already uses.

LMS and SIS: files, not a native connector

Everabyte stores and shares the files these systems produce. We do not claim a native LMS or SIS integration, automatic enrolment sync or a gradebook connection. If a connector is required, it is discussed as part of the deployment.

Term workflow

One academic term, four storage steps

A repeatable routine that keeps folders clean from September to June.

  1. Set up the term

Create one folder per course or department and assign an owner. Previous years stay archived and readable.

  2. Invite the class

Add staff and students with the rights their role needs. A guest lecturer can receive view-only access.

  3. Share the material

Publish resources in the course folder or send a protected link with an expiry date for external reviewers.

  4. Close and archive

At the end of term, move the folder to an archive area and revoke links that are no longer needed.

Retention periods remain defined by your institution and its records policy.

Scalable growth

Storage that follows enrolment and research

Start with one department, then extend the same model across the institution.

Begin with a single department and add faculties without rebuilding the folder structure

Handle heavier periods such as registration, exams and research deadlines

Reach files from campus networks, staff devices and remote learning environments

Capacity and transfer quotas are defined by plan. There is no unlimited storage promise.

A rollout education IT can support

Everabyte works with school and university IT teams to introduce storage without disrupting teaching.

Guided onboarding

Invite staff by role, mirror the existing folder structure and remove access when someone leaves.

Support for IT teams

Documentation and a named contact help your team plan the rollout and answer staff questions.

Budget-conscious plans

Storage and transfer quotas are defined per plan, so you can match capacity to the institution.

Get started with storage that fits the systems your team already maintains.

Education ready

Power education with controlled cloud storage

Everabyte helps schools and universities replace fragmented local drives with a secure, collaborative workspace for the whole academic community.
