Protecting administrative documents
Keep case files, citizen records and departmental reports in encrypted storage with version history, so a wrong edit or a deleted file is recoverable.
Public sector
Secure cloud storage for public institutions managing sensitive documents, archives, and citizen records.
Public recordsCitizen services
Illustrative workspace built on the EverBox file-management interface. Folder names are examples.
Operational reality
Public institutions do not need another generic drive. They need a file layer that supports records officers, department managers and external scrutiny without slowing down daily work.
Keep case files, citizen records and departmental reports in encrypted storage with version history, so a wrong edit or a deleted file is recoverable.
Separate folders by department and grant view, download, edit or share rights per person instead of relying on a single shared drive.
Move closed files into dedicated archive folders, keep earlier versions, and align retention settings with the schedule your records team already follows.
Select a storage region during deployment and review residency requirements with our team before records leave an existing system.
Document lifecycle
A concrete path for one public document, from the moment it arrives to the day it becomes a closed record.
A department uploads a document into its own folder. The upload is encrypted in transit and at rest.
An owner is assigned and the file is tagged by department, case type or retention category.
Colleagues receive view or edit rights. External parties receive a protected link with an expiry date.
Closed records move to an archive folder. Versions stay available and the access log remains readable.
Views, downloads, link creation and revocation are recorded in the audit log on plans that include it. Retention periods and legal obligations remain defined by your institution.
Oversight
Permissions should be understandable to the people who approve them. Everabyte keeps access rules explicit and reviewable.
Before you commit
Public procurement teams need answers they can attach to a file. These are the three conversations we expect to have before a pilot.
Encryption, transport, access control and backup behaviour are documented on the Security Architecture page and can be discussed with your review team.
Hosting options depend on the selected infrastructure and deployment model. Regional requirements are part of the scoping conversation, not a checkbox.
Data processing terms, retention commitments and support expectations are agreed in the contract. We do not display certification badges we cannot document.
Everabyte does not present government certifications, FedRAMP status or a specific national accreditation on this page. Any certification or contractual commitment must be confirmed in writing for your deployment.
Tell us which records you hold, who needs access, and where they must be stored. We will map that to a storage configuration you can review.
