Cancelling your subscription
How to cancel your Everabyte subscription: Account settings or email, effect at the end of the paid period, refunds, and what happens to your data.
You can cancel your Everabyte subscription at any time. This article explains how to cancel, when the cancellation takes effect, how refunds work, and what happens to your account after cancellation.
In short
Cancel from your Account settings or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and you keep access until then. Download your files before the account is closed.
How to cancel
Cancelling is at least as easy as signing up:
- from your Account settings;
- by emailing [email protected].
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period: you keep access to your account until then. It does not cancel fees already due.
Refunds
No partial or pro-rated refunds are given for unused time, unused storage or partly used billing periods, except where the law requires it. Discretionary goodwill refunds remain possible. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also have a statutory right to cancel: the detailed conditions are set out in our Terms and Conditions.
Enterprise contracts
Enterprise and negotiated contracts may have their own notice periods, which prevail. If you subscribed under such a contract, refer to it or contact the sales team through the Contact page.
What happens to your data
When your account is deleted, a 14-day grace period opens. After that period, the account is permanently closed. Before leaving, export the data you want to keep: see Your GDPR rights.
Important — Download your files before the account is closed. After the 14-day grace period, the account is permanently closed and its contents can no longer be recovered.
